I am interested in capturing the concealed facade of human behavior through photography, collage, printmaking, and projection, where I long to capture the lack of light in dark contrast imagery. My work grapples with the darker facets of love, relationships, grief and imperfections—both in others and within myself. The hyperfixation between love and attachment, where giving more than I receive leads to emotional depletion, revealing the ways in which we lose ourselves in the pursuit of another’s affection. 

 

Manipulating my materials in layers, using shadow to evoke a mood of unease, inviting the viewer to confront the more haunting, elusive elements of the human condition. My compositions are often strategically ordered to tell a story, led by the weight of past actions and the fear of what may come.

 

Speaking to the experience of "love blindness," where the enchantment of desire can cloud judgment and obscure the imperfections. I aim to create an environment where the audience is confronted with both the haunting beauty and discomfort that define the human experience. Unfolding with a sense of tension, mirroring the way emotions are not easily understood, whether it’s the pain of giving too much, the fear of loss, or the allure of chasing unattainable ideals. I want the audience to leave with a sense of having explored something uncomfortable, perhaps even unsettling—but ultimately, something deeply human.
